Tina Simmons, Owner/Instructor

Tina started taking dance classes at age 5. She performed and competed throughout her youth. Tina was a member of her High School Drill team for two years, served as drill mistress and was dance soloist in her High School musical. After High School Tina was a dancer with the USU Glenn Miller performers and returned to Mt. Crest as the Caprielle Advisor. In 1985 Tina opened Starrsteppers Dance Studio here in Cache Valley and is proud to be in her 30th year of teaching, mentoring and helping her students discover their passion for dance. Tina continues her own dance professional education through various seminars, workshops and classes with some of the world’s top choreographers. Many of the Starrsteppers teaching staff have received their dance training at Starrsteppers and share in Tina’s passion for the art of dance. Tina believes in inspiring confidence, self-esteem, teamwork, kindness, proper dance technique and above all FUN through dance at Starrsteppers. Tina and her husband Lynn live in Millville, Utah and are the proud parents of five daughters.
